1976 tour

On July 4, 1976, Wheelmen from the United States and abroad converged on Independence Hall at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan to ride to Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Covering some 700 miles in 12 days,  and crossing the Allegheny mountains, Wheelmen rode antique bicycles commemorating  the 100th Anniversary of the High Wheel bicycle and the 200th Anniversary of America.
