ca. 1887 Unknown maker (possibly a Peugeot or Ormonde) Cross Frame Hard Tire Safety bicycle. Hinged steering head, brake spoon to front wheel with hand brake lever and all linkages, coasting pegs on front fork blades, forged spade type oil lamp bracket as part of top handle bar stem clamp, original pedals, crank bracket is adjustable to adjust chain tension, wide block chain, 29" front and 30" rear wheels, rims are skinny for 5/8" or 3/4" solid tires, hubs are for radial spokes that are all missing. Frame has rusted through on one side of the rear frame stay and would need to be sleeved and brazed together. Good project to save this early hard tire safety bicycle. $3000
ca. 1896 CAPITOL ladies wood rimmed 28" pneumatic tire bicycle. Very complete original untouched example. Has wood rear fender and wood chain guard, cork grips and very ornate and intricate hand painted gold designs at about every frame and fork junction and pin striping as well. The head badge reads: E. I. HORSMAN - CAPITOL - NEW YORK U.S.A. I have researched and found there was a Edward Imeson Horsman from New York that owned the Horsman Company that was a wholesale retailer business about this time and was also a well known doll manufacturing business producing Horsman Dolls but that is about as far as I have gotten. I can only find CAPITAL models listed in Adam's book but not spelled the same as this bicycle brand. $2500
1891 48" Farringdon Rational high wheel bicycle. 48" front wheel and 22" rear wheel. Tangential spoke patterns front and rear. Barn find condition. Cool looking with large 22" rear wheel and would ride very smoothly.

(In escrow)1890 Lozier & Yost The Giant No. 4 HTS. Rare to find HTS with unique front fork suspension. Restoration work done but needs tires. $15,000
1889 39 X 24 STAR high wheel safety. Very rare machine. I restored this bicycle 36 years ago and it still looks fantastic. Arguably the best riding of all the STAR models as it's smaller rear wheel allows good hill climbing capability and larger 24" front wheel rolls quite smoothly over bumpy conditions. Gives that classic STAR look yet is easy to mount and control. $18,000
